Vocal Groove Collective Unveils “Luminara,” a Cinematic EDM Experience Featuring WCOPA Medalist Antoinette Targa
TORONTO, ON — [Insert Release Date] — The Vocal Groove Collective (VGC), a Toronto-based electronic music collective known for its high-energy performances and evolving original sound, releases “Luminara,” an emotionally driven EDM track featuring vocalist Antoinette Targa, a WCOPA (World Championships of Performing Arts) medalist and internationally recognized performer.
Blending elements of progressive house and modern trance, “Luminara” is built on expansive soundscapes, melodic progression, and immersive production. The track creates a sense of lift and movement, designed to transport listeners into a reflective yet energized state — equally suited for both intimate listening and large-scale festival environments.
At the center of the track is Antoinette Targa’s vocal performance, delivering a balance of clarity, control, and emotional depth. A multi-talented artist known for her work as a singer, dancer, and performer, Targa has built a growing presence both online and on stage. Her career highlights include international recognition at the World Championships of Performing Arts, as well as appearances on Philippine television and Wish Bus 107.5, where she showcased her vocal ability to a global audience.
In addition to her performance career, Targa has released original music including tracks such as “Still Here” and “Fine,” produced in collaboration with Vladmir Reyes. These projects showcase her versatility as a recording artist, working across different production styles while continuing to expand her presence in pop, R&B, and dance.
“Luminara” was written and produced by Rodney Ronquillo, whose composition blends emotional storytelling with festival-scale production. The collaboration highlights the synergy between composer and vocalist — pairing cinematic sound design with a performance capable of carrying both intimacy and scale.
“Luminara was about creating a feeling,” said Ronquillo. “It’s not just about energy. It’s about atmosphere, emotion, and taking the listener somewhere beyond the moment.”
The song explores themes of inner light, resilience, and transformation — capturing the idea of finding strength and clarity even in uncertain or transitional phases. Its melodic structure and layered instrumentation reflect a journey that gradually builds, peaks, and releases.
Founded by Rodney and Chyrell Ronquillo, the Vocal Groove Collective continues to push beyond traditional performance formats by integrating strong vocalists, choreography, and electronic production into a unified live experience. Inspired by the scale and energy of global festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, VGC is developing a signature sound that balances emotional storytelling with high-impact dance energy.
“Luminara” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
