Vocal Groove Collective
The Vocal Groove Collective is a Toronto-based live performance collective blending original electronic music, powerful vocal performances, and choreography into one unified stage experience.
Founded and creatively directed by visionary Rodney Ronquillo and coordinated by Chyrell (Samson) Ronquillo, VGC operates at the intersection of concert energy and dance culture. The Collective delivers emotionally charged, rhythm-driven performances designed to move audiences both physically and emotionally.
With the launch of their original upcoming album PULSE, (scheduled for May 23, 2026), VGC enters a new chapter — one centered on high-impact house music, immersive stage production, and a bold commitment to original artistry.
This is not a cover act.
This is a live electronic concert experience with a narrative element.
The PULSE Era
PULSE marks the Collective’s evolution into a fully original, house-driven sound.
Built around progressive builds, festival-inspired drops, deep rhythmic grooves, and pop-infused vocal hooks, the PULSE era represents unity, empowerment, and high-energy celebration.
VGC’s performances combine:
• Progressive House
• Festival Anthem House
• Club House
• K-Pop blends
• Deep House
• Brazilian Bounce-inspired rhythmic energy
• Pop-forward vocal melodies
• Choreographed movement
• Visual storytelling
Some productions incorporate live DJ elements, while others focus purely on vocalists and dancers performing over custom-produced electronic tracks. This flexibility allows VGC to adapt to festivals, concert stages, corporate events, and club environments without losing their signature identity.
Every performance is designed to feel explosive, cinematic, and immersive.

Tender Storms Music Video 2026
Some of the most beautiful souls carry an extraordinary strength within them.
They are gentle, compassionate, and kindhearted. Yet beneath that tenderness lies the ...courage to face life's greatest challenges, stand strong through adversity, and rise above the darkness.
**Vocal Groove Collective proudly presents TENDER STORMS**, featuring Chyrell Ronquillo, from our album *PULSE*.
Brought to life as a cinematic anime fantasy, this official music video transforms a deeply meaningful message into an extraordinary visual journey.
Through supernatural storms, mysterious shadow creatures, breathtaking landscapes, and powerful magical encounters, we explore the challenges that can test even the gentlest hearts.
*THE STORY BEHIND TENDER STORMS*
The shadow creatures represent the negativity, hostility, cruelty, and mistreatment we may encounter throughout life.
The powerful storms symbolize the pressures, struggles, and overwhelming situations that challenge our peace and inner strength.
And Chyrell's journey represents the courage to face those challenges without losing the compassion, kindness, and beauty that make us who we are.
At its heart, Tender Storms celebrates the beautiful balance between gentleness and strength.
It reminds us that true strength doesn't require us to become hardened or unkind.
We can remain compassionate while standing up for ourselves.
We can protect our peace while continuing to care for others.
And we can rise above darkness without allowing it to diminish the light within us.
*ABOUT THE MUSIC VIDEO*
Created through a combination of original music, anime-inspired illustrations, cinematic storytelling, and AI-assisted animation, Tender Storms brings together music and visual imagination to deliver an inspiring fantasy experience.
We hope this music video encourages you to embrace your inner strength, remain true to your beautiful spirit, and continue shining through whatever storms life brings.
