Toronto, ON – April 2026 — A powerful cross-generational collaboration is set to make waves in the music scene as legendary OPM pioneer and Manila Sound originator Mon Torralba teams up with multimedia producer and Vocal Groove Collective founder Rodney Ronquillo on a brand new single titled “AGELESS.”
The track will make its live debut at the highly anticipated VGC: PULSE Album Release Concert & Dance Experience, happening on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Vibe Manila in Toronto.
A Collaboration Bridging Generations
What began as an invitation quickly evolved into a full creative partnership. Ronquillo first invited Torralba to appear as a special guest performer at the PULSE concert. The collaboration deepened when Ronquillo proposed creating an original song together for the album.
Torralba, widely recognized as a pioneering force behind the Manila Sound movement that helped shape Original Pilipino Music (OPM), enthusiastically agreed.
The two artists worked through their demanding schedules to craft a track that honors the past while embracing the future.

Initially without a personal song planned for the album, he asked Torralba for the opportunity to bring the song to life vocally. Torralba supported the decision, and upon hearing the final recording, expressed strong enthusiasm for the finished piece.
Following final refinements, “AGELESS” is now ready for its official release and live debut.
