Toronto, ON — March 31, 2026 — The Vocal Groove Collective (VGC) announces the release of “Decoded,” a high-energy single that blends K-pop influence, progressive house, and rock-driven performance into a bold, cinematic music experience.
Produced and written by Rodney Ronquillo, “Decoded” introduces a compelling concept: a mindreader anthem rooted in psychology. The track explores the ability to read people beyond spoken words — through micro-expressions, tone, timing, and energy — uncovering signals most people overlook.
“Decoded is about awareness. It’s about recognizing that people communicate far more than what they say — and if you’re paying attention, everything is already there,” says Ronquillo.
The single was recorded on March 21, 2026 at Buzzzcast Studios and features John Alix, a standout member of the Vocal Groove Collective.
John Alix brings a distinctive presence to the track as a singer, crooner, and film actor, known for his calm, controlled delivery and composed on-screen persona. His performance on “Decoded” reflects a precise and measured intensity, aligning seamlessly with the song’s theme of observation, awareness, and psychological insight. His signature look and stillness further reinforce a character that does not react impulsively — but instead reads and understands in real time.
Musically, “Decoded” combines modern electronic production with performance-driven dynamics, crafted for both streaming platforms and live stage execution. The track represents VGC’s continued evolution toward immersive, high-impact musical storytelling.
“Decoded” will be available on Spotify and all major streaming platforms.
The single will also be performed live at the upcoming VGC: PULSE Album Release Concert & Dance Experience on May 23, 2026, showcasing the group’s signature fusion of music, choreography, and visual production.
The release continues a strong run of original productions led by Ronquillo throughout 2025, further establishing both his and VGC’s presence in the contemporary EDM and performance music landscape.
