We’re excited to have found the perfect fit. JR is not only a longtime friend of VGC, but also a vocal veteran with decades of experience as a performer, producer, and musical director.
He’s performed on some of the biggest Filipino stages across the GTA, from Mabuhay Festival to Fun Philippines and Pinoy Fiesta. A Gary Valenciano Singing Contest Champion, JR has also rocked the stage as part of the high-energy trio The Bad Ass Dudes.
But his impact goes far beyond the stage.
JR is a worship leader at his church, a respected community leader in Toronto’s Filipino community, a proud dad, and a passionate entrepreneur. He brings a heart of service, a voice of power, and the kind of presence that uplifts any room he walks into.His much-needed tenor voice perfectly complements our high-tenor Rommel Sudan, bringing a whole new level of depth and harmony to the VGC sound.
